This is a story that strikes close to home.
Myron Penn, a black attorney with the law firm Penn & Seaborn, who used to be my Alabama state senator in District 28 from 2003 to 2011, has created a huge local controversy in nearby Union Springs, AL by removing Confederate Battle Flags from the Confederate cemetery there.
Penn and his White wife went into the Confederate cemetery and plucked the small little flags off the soldiers’ graves which had been placed there by the United Daughters of the Confederacy to honor Confederate Memorial Day:
“At Monday’s Bullock County Commission meeting, Attorney Myron Penn announced that he and his wife, Karen, recently removed Confederate flags from behind the Red Door Theater.
In his presentation, Penn stated that the flags were “symbols of a divided society, and I do not want the children of our community—black, white, Hispanic, or whatever–to ever feel they are a part of a community that is divided.” …
The story has roiled the Confederate heritage community on Facebook. It has also created a local backlash which was featured last night on WSFA 12:
“It’s not about race or the flag or anything else. It’s about decency and respect for the dead. You don’t do stuff like that,” added Rebecca Atkins. “You got to give respect where it’s deserved and those soldiers gave their lives just like any other soldier gives their lives. It’s nothing racial and it’s not about discrimination. You look at the person who served for our country and that’s what matters.”
Others say it was criminal, citing Alabama Code 13A-7-23.1 which states that it’s against the law to “willfully and wrongfully or maliciously destroy, remove, cut, break, or injure any tree, shrub, plant, flower, decoration, or other real or personal property within any cemetery or graveyard.”
Penn responded to the backlash and says no laws were broken since he left the items at City Hall for anyone to claim and pick up. He says the city typically removes the flags after Confederate Memorial Day anyway. …”
Note: A group called “Defenders of the Confederate Cross” will be holding a protest in Union Springs on June 19.

  6. This Negroid so-called attorney, Myron Penn, vastly exceeded the boundaries of basic human decency when he and his whitey wife, Karen, arrogantly....and illegally...took it upon themselves to desecrate the graves of Confederate soldiers who died defending the South during the Northern War of Aggression, a.k.a., the American Civil War. This mixed race duo crept into a cemetery containing the remains of Confederate soldiers and removed the Confederate flags that lay on their hallowed graves. This was a foul and cowardly act of domestic terrorism of the very worst kind...the defilement of the dead who cannot resist their defilement. Myron Penn is, in essence...a grave robber, a sub-human opportunist, cowardly racist thug who seeks out soft targets to manifest his whitey-hating proclivities. Again, the dead cannot fight back, a fact that the banana-peeling, tree limb- swinging Penn well knows. But then...these are the things that cowards do. As a consequence of his actions, attorney Penn, probably an affirmative action ersatz lawyer...should at the very least be disbarred from the practice of law via the moral turpitude clause of the American Bar Association ( ABA ). This, of course, will not happen, because Penn is black and his deceased victims were white. In this age of black rule ( Obama, former U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder, current U.S. attorney General Loretta Lynch...and many other black, whitey-hating black racists )...can get away with any crime, however foul, debased. "Attorney" Penn and his whitey wife did, in fact, commit a crime when they conspired to desecrate the graves of the dead by removing the flags from their graves. Again, a most debased and cowardly deed indeed committed by a racist coward. Penn's contact info is available elsewhere on this site. This writer urges every single ancestor of the Confederate dead to contact the tree-swinger Penn for the purpose of manifesting their righteous outrage regarding his grave-robbing endeavors. Don't waste your time contacting the U.S. "Justice" Department regarding this shameful incident, because this erstwhile respected but now debased entity is headed by the black female, Loretta Lynch. She, too, is a black, whitey-hating racist. Guerrilla warfare...

  7. There are two heinous crimes that decent people don't commit: the molestation of children and the molestation of the graves of the dead...
